Commemorative album of the Three Gorges Reservoir

(Jan.19, 2005) Staff members of the Post Office of Yunyang County,
Chongqing, are putting philatelic products in order. From today, a
special commemorative album with a collection of the famous historical
relic sceneries in the Three Gorges Reservoir area will be launched
locally. This scenery album named "new look of the old scenery" not only
picture all the historical cultural relics now underwater in the Three
Gorges Reservoir area and those moved, but also include stamps related to
the Three Gorges Reservoir that were previously issued since the founding
of New China. It is the most complete documentary of the culture and
sites in the Three Gorges Reservoir area.
